Harder than milking lemurs
A friend of mine has been reading Nabakov. He tells me that a week after
reading I forget which story he suddenly gets it...while driving in traffic,
laughs so hard he nearly wrecks his car.
My dog ate my copy of Pale Fire, edges and cover...no words were lost
in the chewing of this book...looks like the book was fashionably decayed, softened like a
pair of jeans.
schizophrenia maybe, but I think the trauma is more going to be more severe w/
the model being multiple personalities, multiple I's working in real time in parallel with
one knowing very little about what the others are doing...
