this one on the web, written for the web
Hegira a flight or forced journey
So far the forced in that the page plays out if you leave it
alone, go to pee you're somewhere else
Any other flights, haven't noticed, the page plays out to an
"empty" page w/ hidden links, usually going to a talk of numbers. Again as in Victory
Garden I am struck by how the changes in how I read this are controlled by the
placement of links. Now instead of hidden they flank the text on each side. I'm trying to
pin down why I feel this as so important, why this makes a difference.
like the footnotes and annotations of a body of thought but not
the thought itself
much easier to read on the web, big difference from hypercard look
this stuff what I call "The Fantastic History of the Last Ten
Minutes," a realm of writing I've run into before, maybe a fractured record of our
fractured times
