Remembering Jerry Hall in Brian Ferry’s Let’s Stick Together Video Clip
(after Paulus Silentiarius)
I was eight years old in 1976.
I had never seen lips
so plump and red,
eyes so inviting,
hair so
lustrous. The way
she moved, cat-like
and purring, sashaying
across the stage …
If she had plucked
just one strand
of that golden hair
and tied my wrists
with it, even at such
a tender age,
I’d have pleaded
with her never to release me.

Another good one. I still remember reading interviews with her describing all the bedroom techniques she tried (from garb to accessories) to keep Mick from straying. I don't think it worked but I wonder if Jagger tried unique things to keep her interested. Bet she'd love to see this poem.

Was curious. They didn't make it. The article is pretty cleverly written.

what the freak did Jerry expect, anyway?
she looks quite a bit like my exwife but I don't hold it against her.
nice poem of early bubbling hormonal urgings.
Morad and the other thousand quickies be damned, It's only ROCK AND ROLL, and I like it, like it... (somebody sang)
